"They're the top agency and you're here crying how they weren't Nijisanji 2.0 for you. Who do you think you're fooling?"
I said, held them back from their TRUE potential greatness. IMHO, Hololive could potentially be even bigger than they are now, and I truly believe that if they cracked down on unicorns from the very start -- or even better, just debuted the boys as part of Hololive, rather than segregating them into their own disconnected group -- they would be.
In other words, I'm not saying Hololive isn't great. I'm just saying, they could be even better!
"Stars fan saying you need to give their boys attention or you're not a reasonable human being."
The funny thing is, I'm not even really a Stars fan! The only Stars member I watch -- and when I say watch, I mean watch clips of -- is Roberu. And sometimes, I'll catch some clips of Ollie and Jurard. But otherwise, I barely know anything about the Stars.
My concern isn't that the Stars boys aren't getting enough attention, it's that they aren't really being given a fighting chance TO get mainstream attention because so much of the fanbase is opposed to them even being mentioned in the same breath as Hololive members -- a minority of the fanbase, I believe, but a vocal enough minority to actually have an effect on how many of the Hololive girls act. And not only is that not fair to the guys, it's not fair to the girls, either.
I want to see equality, is what I'm saying. I want to see the girls actually feel free to collab with the guys IF THEY WANT. And not hold themselves back for fear of retaliation, loss of superchat revenue, etc.
That's all!
I don't think that's an unreasonable thing to ask for. And I don't think I should be chastised for stating my opinion about it in this comment thread. I am entitled to my opinion, and to express that opinion! And if you don't like it... you're entitled to disagree. But please, try to keep it civil.
