For the other way around (corpo to indie) it's a bit harder yeah, but you basically stalk your girl's social circle for new vtuber twitter accounts appearing. If your oshi's genmates have alt indie accounts you stalk those. Failing everything you stalk their mods and/or top paypigs to see if they found out about a reincarnation. And if that fails you check relevant imageboards threads to see if your oshi has been found by an anon.
Not knowing these tricks just means you are a bit new to vtubing and that's okay.
