But in most cases it just feels like they lead these people on(for either their fanart, attention, or money), then complain/laugh at them but don't wanna let go what they get from having them around, even if you wanna call it appreciation. Either case, at some point you wonder when will you be put in that spot by them just for talking normally, being gossiped about to another dude who's her new interest. As I see it, this is most likely to happen when you notice that the vtuber is clearly separating her real self from the character (it doesn't always happen), so she has no real attachment to these people despite being the ones who support her content, schizo or not.
