And that's kind of the point; the model is less important than the content. Aethelstan's model is yumebait as hell, and yet his audience is 80% male. Meanwhile, you'll see plenty of models on twitch that explicitly appeal to men. There's one that literally looks like a Go Nagai character that's a mid 2view. Pretty much the only notable male vtuber with a design that explicitly appeals to men is Heavenlyfather.
Conversely, look at Bettel. Someone who's been a known quantity to some extent for over a decade, with an almost entirely male audience pre-vtubing, has barely changed his content beyond being less edgy, and yet has an absolutely vicious female fanbase.
I just think at this point, Holostars is kind of fucked. Even if you get the funniest guy of all time with a model by Akira Toriyama himself (RIP), you wouldn't get a male audience. Vesper and Magni's very bitter exit ruined for everyone going forward.
Also, Osomatsu-kun audience is primarily fujos.
