so. i admit. i am a hater. i DO NOT like Sameko Saba, and believe she's genuinely bad at streaming, singing, etc. I also think her out-of-pocket attention grabby behavior during collabs is annoying. ESPECIALLY DURING GRADUATION STREAMS

please add your own crtical views of Saba below. am guaging others opinions on if I'm alone on these sentiments

I love Saba, but I can’t forgive her for ghosting advent so deliberately before leaving. I do think she has a great voice, but she’s kind of shit streamer. Watching her isn’t as fun as watching clips of her ie there’s some good stuff in there, but it’s not worth sitting through an entire stream for the gold.

Reminds me of that post ages ago where someone on /vt/ asked wtf is wrong with Gura and I said that she's basically an autist with adhd and likes to take control during collabs and likes to stay on top of conversations, and then like 2 days ago she talked about AuDHD on stream. Fun times.
But to counter your statement she's good at singing but she picks shit fucken songs. She'd be the best with some Jazzy songs, or Rap songs like she did back as senzawa.
As to attention grabbing its fine cuz she's cute.

She's okay.
Decently funny and quick-witted, but nowhere close to the levels her fans advertise her as
Her usual singing always bored me. The songs she sang in Holo were overall boring and the only song I've ever listened to twice from her is Ash Again, which is imo the range she should absolutely be using. She really should be focusing on singing deeper rather than higher, because she's actually amazing there and it's an incredible untapped niche because every vtuber and their mother are trying to sing like a squeaky hammer.

My only actual critical view though is her overall shyness and complete inability to function in collabs. She refuses to join anything and seems incapable of talking to anyone outside of a ridiculously small list of like 2-3 people. There's nothing particularly wrong with being a solo act like Nimi or most fleshies, but her type of humor seems equipped to bounce off of people and build rapport, but even with Dooby she seems to be holding back all the time. Nobody really challenges her or gives her an opportunity to really let loose, which is made even more frustrating by the fact that she refuses to reach out or accept anybody outside of her circle (which consists entirely of Dooby right now).

A large chunk of what made her likable as gura was bouncing off of and playfully smack talking others. just being by herself and maybe Dooby (which seems like forever ago at this point) really hobbles her potential.

I like Saba, but I loved Gura and the gremlin she inflicted on others. Her current content seems rather tepid.

I know some fans hate the idea, but it's why I really hope she ends up getting in contact with the sloppy sisters or some similar group. Pretty much all of their streams are just beating the shit out of each other in creative ways and/or goofing off.
Even if not the group itself, just any of the members would probably vibe, so I really hope she reaches out to Lime at the very least.
