Because they didn't evolved: they barely play up their roles, they don't interact more directly with chat than the face cam streamers, and the idea of doing anything other than drawing, karaoke or playing slop seems to terrify most of them.

Honestly just watching girls talk about stupid bullshit is pretty tiring, but even when they act like clowns and flip around there's diminishing returns on how much I can enjoy that over time. I usually just leave jp chuubas on in the background for japanese immersion while I'm working out or driving to and from work.

honestly i've always kinda only stuck to streams of games i like or interesting streams, especially collabs/3ds/concerts/enreco.
but for like a year I've just lost interest totally. i cant remember the last time ive watched a stream start to finish. or even for an hour.

I stick to just my oshi. She streams about 4 days a week. I do not give two shits about vtuber news/drama anymore because a lot of them graduated and I’m not investing in new ones. If my oshi ever graduates, I will just watch funny clips. I will be done.

Think it's been a year since watching my last full vtuber stream. It's only been barely any clips at most since then. I'm only around for the music/concerts now because I love idolkino, and afaik this is all we got in the West. At this point I'm going to feel more and more like a tourist though.

I watch mostly VODs of my oshi because she streams typically while I'm working. Sometimes Biboo since her streamtime works for me. Never use Twitch ever for any reason but I do watch an insane amount of Neuro clips. Sometimes the same clips but on 2-3 different channels.

Although really my wife Onolumi takes most of my Vtuber watch time.
