NijiEN and HoloID both have streamlab but I rarely see anyone donate money through that.

It makes even less sense not to use streamlabs for big corporate vtubers. They aren't going to read your superchat that is scrolling quickly through chat like an indie might. A streamlab donation is going to get the same thanks as a superchat in the donation reading part of the stream.

Superchats are not donations you buy a place where your msg is readable for a certain time. Streamlabs is a simple donation thru paypal and you can use a chargback. Didn't that just happen to Vei?

But its probably because the people who donate more get an adrenaline rush whenever they see their donation stay in the chat, since seeing their donation on stream in chat is the only form of excitement in their lonely lives.

That's exactly why there are streamlabs notifications on the stream itself. Most twitch chuubas have it set up, and many in HoloID and NijiEN have it up too.

I know lots of you hate her, and enjoyed the whole episode, but the fact is it’s not a great dono tool for streamers and easily subject to abuse.

It's sort of against ToS if you're under the partnership program, you're more than allowed to link it (obviously) but youtube/google (many sites really) are against directing people off site solely to give you money when its not charitable causes to protect you, especially if you're in a country that supports Supachatting.
