Tech has had a long time to change, dude. I remember when you needed something like the gp2x wiz or a hacked PSP for good enough mobile emulation, things generally over the $150 at the time, and now the market is flooded with chinkhelds to the point where there's one for basically any form factor you'd want, and they all emulate fine (contrary to what /vr/ will tell you)
