Another narrative I have seen is the myth that Japanese corporations are forcing talents to hide their boyfriends. They can't do that, not in their RM accounts. It would violate labor and privacy laws. If your Oshi hides her bf, she does it on her own for whatever reason (fear of stalkers, privacy, etc.)
