>Hololive Superchats by Currency and Region Year to Date 2025 (August)Source: Hololyzer (JST monthly cutoff). Superchats are converted to USD using the stream day's JPY to USD rate.
>MythKari-chan kakkoi rakes in a good chunk of Yen and Kiara has a good base of Korean support, giving them a diverse set of Asian currencies.
Kiara makes up almost all of the European SCs for Myth, with a staggering $15,722, Mori doesn't do too poorly either, as she comes in 6th in EUR SCs.
Myth's SCs are aggressively average, as Mori and Kiara stream at opposite times to opposite demographics and Ina is Ina, so I have little to say about their NA or SEA numbers.
>PromisePromise is actually the gen with the smallest proportion of NA SCs at only 58%. Although, they do earn more than Myth and Justice do due to the sheer amount of SCs they make.
Promise's Asian SCs are the only non-NA region that breaks 20% in any gen, and it's a very strong group effort. The top 3 KRW in EN are all three Promise; IRyS and Kronii are the top 2 for HKD and trail Biboo for top 3 in TWD; and IRyS and Bae trail FWMC as the top 3 in JPY as well.
Due to timezones, Europe somehow manages to lose to SEA for Promise, as none of them make particularly much from the Europeans who can't stay up to watch them and EU make up barely 5% of Promise's SCs. They are the only gen to make less than 10k from the Eurozone.
Although to be fair, over half of Promise's SEA SCs are actually just IRyS' Singaporean whales sending more than $10k for her.
>AdventImpressively, Advent has nearly 3/4 of their SCs come from NA. All of them are very strong in USD, as the top 3 USD SCs by percentage in EN are Shiori, Nerissa, and Biboo, and FWMC is the #1 in raw USD. In fact, to highlight just how dominant they are here, Advent has earned more in USD ($254,593) than any other gen has earned in full sum this whole year.
Both FWMC and Biboo earn considerable JPY, FWMC take the Japanese crown at #1 and Biboo comes in at #3; unfortunately, Shiori and Nerissa have almost zero Asian SCs to speak of at all. Biboo also takes #1 for TWD too, somewhat ironic as she wasn't picked for the Taiwanese Baseball event and FWMC earn almost no TWD.
Advent make a good amount in European SCs purely by making the most SCs overall, otherwise they get very, very little European support.
FWMC are the only ones in EN who get any love from Indonesia, as they make $3,436, while no one else breaks 4 digits.
>JusticeGG alone makes up over a third of Justice's USD SCs so Justice's foothold in NA is actually just GG's foothold, since she has over 2/3 of her SCs come from USD. On their own, the other three barely break 50% NA contribution, which should come as little surprise, as they are the three lowest total USD earners.
Justice is the only gen whose Asian SCs make up less than 10%, unsurprisingly thanks to timezones. Raora does get a nice chunk of JPY, though, and so does ERB, presumably getting a few of the late, late night Japanese viewers.
Obviously, Justice is king with European currencies coming up at 18% of their total SCs. They make the most in GBP by far at $10,618, just barely less than all three other gens combined at 11k flat. However, for EUR, there is no such dominance, as only CC and ERB make top 5 in EUR and both lose to Kiara.
Similarly to their Asian SCs, Justice actually do get a chunk of SEA money, as Raora and ERB pull in some late night viewers there as well.
>NotesI picked reporting per-gen currencies to follow-up the work done by
>>100700450 which I haven't seen an update for. The branch-wide table is regional to capture wider geographic trends.
I probably won't post this one too regularly, maybe once every several months to update total SC earnings, as there is little to see month-over-month.
An astute observer may notice the four gens don't add up to the EN branch total, and that's because of some obscure rounding. The difference is $79.
As with all my tables, I exclude Gura, Fauna, and Mumei as their graduation SCs would skew numbers dramatically.
>Fun factsMyth and Advent actually regressed in % of EU SCs from 2024 to 2025 slightly. Myth from 15% to 13% and Advent from 8% to 6%. Promise also regressed, but 5.7% to 5.6% is not exactly worth writing home about. While Justice certainly earn a lot in EU currencies, they might have taken a noticeable amount of paying fans from other gens who now have an easier schedule to work with.
Canadian dollars contribute very little to NA's dominance in SCs. However, they do come up with $47k, which is just shy of SEA's entire contributions.
You might expect the Yen to be in a similar state for East Asia, but JPY at $58k do not make up even half of Asian SCs.
The Euro does, however, as it comes out to $59k, well over SEA and retaining its 3rd place even without the other European currencies like GBP.
