According to Japanese rankings made after the airing of S1 of Konosuba, our lewd knight-tank was the last girl from the protagonists (Aqua, Megumin, Darkness, Kazuma).
Apparently, Japanese don't like the whole "uwu I'm lewd and horni" shtick. A majority of them are off-put by the act and although they consider it entertaining, they don't see it as attractive.
Marine here is behaving almost exactly as Lalatina. She is charismatic, awkward, always in heat, dependable, gets jealous, imagines herself in multiple scenarios, enjoys being tortured verbally (by some), is understanding.
Of course, our Marine will always be seen as the num 1 best idol waifu because she portrays it in the best possible way, however, the Japanese won't really reach a concensus with us.
