Mihoyo (CN devs) didn't give Hololive perms for their games before (Genshin, HSR, HI, etc.) and filtered "Coco" in chat upon Genshin release.
Guess they are cool after 5 years so Holo has Hoyo perms now

Amphoreus until phainon's wild ride is a mix of introductions, shit that doesn't matter, and filler stories just there to shill characters and then get forgotten (hi hyacine sky people)

Firefly is comfort gf but they kinda botched her characterization and storylines (we'll see in the upcoming penacony patch), Sparkle is a great character but they botched her gameplay until archer (she was gigacreeped by Sunday)

This really shows how fragmented the otaku community has been. There are a ton of vtuber fans who don't watch anime nor play anime gachas. Likewise, there's also a ton of anime gacha players who don't watch anime nor vtubers and there's anime fans who don't play anime gachas nor watch vtubers. If this was say, the last 2000s to early 2010s, the usual internet otaku would be into all three of those in varying degrees.
