Idk if she's the only one, but I always see a bunch of JP chatters and comments. I guess it also helps that she often reads them live, replies, and hearts the comments. So it makes them come back.

Very few indies want to put up with a multilingual chat most of them in fact have a rule to keep chat english only. A lot like japanese Vtubers with english fans you are expected to speak japanese. The few that don't care and can read nihongo get japanese fans who speak japanese so there is your answer.

Much like Gura, Saba is more popular in Japan than most of the well known JP vtubers and basically all JP indies. She is even mogging all the other JP ex-holos in terms of JP mindshare.
