Cuz there's so many people using UBO it has a pretty massive effect on viewer numbers which is pretty bad for creators since views are the primary stat YT's algorithm uses to determine how much to shill you.
It's not really the end of the world tho for someone with lots of members & superchatters, cuz they're obviously still giving her money. But it might hurt reach in future, which is pretty bad for YT streamers like Doki because stream discoverability on YT was already complete dogshit.
I'm like 90% sure this is YT giving up on trying to actually block adblock, because it's not possible, and instead trying to polarise content creators and their communities against adblock users to try and peer-pressure them out of using it.
