Think about it this way: what’s the upside for a company to seed the market with their own competitors?
Why would a company invest in a model, a channel, advertise it and then release it into the market for no benefit for themselves whatsoever?
Incidentally that’s the same reason Cover killed HoloCN and salted the earth, and amusingly it’s the same reason HoloCN management tried their “coup”
