"Yagoo" comes from misreading the "谷" in "谷郷" (Tanigoo) as "ya", which is an alternate reading of the character.
"Ayunda" is the Indonesian word for "older sister" and is derived from the word "ayu" which means "beautiful, splendid". "Risu" is the Japanese word for "squirrel". Ayunda Risu is a multilingual pun that means "squirrel onee-san", BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! It also refers to the taxonomic name of Indonesia's indigenous treerat, "Tupaia splendidula", which is commonly known as the "ruddy treeshrew". Also, "ruddy treeshrew" is a fantastic nickname for Risu that the community is sleeping on, desu.
"Gawr" is a portmanteau of two onamatopoeic words for the battle cry of a wild animal: "gao" (Japanese) and "rawr" (Tumblrina).
Omegaα's name is from Revelation 21:6, and refers to the fact that HoloEN delivers streams without cost for thirsty EOPs: "He said to me: 'It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.'" (NIV)
AZKi's name comes from the adzuki bean, and refers to the fact that her creators were drunk when they named her.
