>>105735644The Kanji system is derived from Chinese characters, but even with full Kanji like in OP pic, Chinese use different symbols for the same shit sometimes. I don't speak Chinese, but I think something like 二時間 (2 hours) might be written differently in Chinese.
There's a bunch of shops around me with Chinese writing on signs. I recognise a lot of the symbols but they're often ordered differently than they would be if written with Kanji, or sometimes there's just symbols that I don't recognise (because Chinese just has more symbols than Japanese), or sometimes the symbols seem to mean something different even when they form what are technically Japanese words if written in Kanji. It's weird.
Japanese also use an alphabet system, but you won't necessarily see them in short statements, or titles, or names of things, etc - so for something like OP pic, if you don't know Chinese or Japanese, you just have to guess. Pretty decent guess that anything related to vtubers is prob gonna be Japanese though.
