This stream with Kenmochi and Suisei was pretty eye opening, that there is at least a level of respect between the talents between the companies. I know they used to collab a lot more frequently way back in the day, but when Hololive became bigger and more idol focused they slowly stopped. Then of course the drama with Luna being ex-Niji and Aloe getting bullied by Niji fans, as well as the drama with Niji EN making pretty much all western fans have a bad taste for Niji overall. But the sentiment now seems to be divided between JP and EN fans, where JP fans seem to not really have any bad thoughts about either company. Whereas EN fan's main thoughts are the drama and negatives. I thought the male collab drama was bad enough, but cross-company collab drama seems to be far worse
