>>10591005No. She presumably lied about being fluent in Cantonese. Probably isn't even fluent in French. Selen is a fake chink. She belongs to the west now.

One is a presumably well off chink nip panderer who joined nijisanji en for the numbers only to realize people won't just applaud her for showing up. Now she's stuck with three mutually exclusive demos she wants to pander to, and her unwillingness to go all in on one makes her a jack of multiple languages but a never a true master of any one market. She needs to get her priorities in order. If she's gonna be an EN chuba, her primary focus should be becoming the best damn en chuba for English audiences she can.
The other is a self hating aussie chink with serious self esteem issues. It doesn't help that her ethnic and residential associations are both loathed for throwing people into concentration camps. She's also hiding her power level presumably because the Coco incident soured people's opinions of Chinese people and she wants to sell herself as an en/jp chuba, disregarding the fact that Coco was also of oriental descent and the ruling political party of communist bandits and their supporters are what people are actually resentful of.
If anything, the most loathsome thing about brrat is unironically her insincerity. Also heavy usage of a secondary language during streams. Nobody (in America, at least) would be mad if she was a plucky slanty eyed multilingual who spoke Cantonese. We eat sushi and Chinese take out all the time, and you never hear of white supremacists bombing their local takeout places. Burgers are offended by authoritarian politics, not languages. In fact, we love appropriating positive aspects of other cultures through oamosis to make our own culture more vibrant and dynamic.
If brrat wanted to speak Canto she could...so long as it's kept to a bare minimum outside of dedicated Canto streams. Same with jp. EOPs know english, and aren't gonna be able to into spontaneously speaking complex thoughts in a foreign language, nor do we enjoy patiently waiting for a chuba to translate themselves. That's what live translators and clippers are for.
tldr They need to have a bit more faith in and appreciation for English speaking audiences so they can be their best en chuba selves.
