kiara is a lot of things but shes rather terrible at being fake. she just blurts out absolutely anything she is thinking.
that said i think she has tried to have a specific kind of friendship with the ENs that she understands, and often it hasn't worked out. I think they are more distant when she wants them to be intimate and it just clashes and falls apart.

Sorry, but I genuinely don’t understand how anyone even passingly familiar with her or her content could come to this sort of conclusion. Her history of extensive travel just to hang out with her coworkers is documented on multiple channels, going back nearly half a decade at this point.

Not exactly. Anyone who has held a job for a long time knows that work friends are a looser bond than any other form of friend. You can look out for them like a friend, do stuff for them, etc. but the day they leave the company there's a high chance you'll never hear from them again. That's just how it works.
