Big channels too large to ever have this issue are using the fact that these losers exist as a veil to vent about their coomer audience. The undercurrent of "I fucking hate my audience, I fucking hate men, fuck men, give me their money" has been growing for some time and spawning an equally cringe" men are valid uwu" grifter trend capitalizing on it, but now the seething has reached the boiling point where big channels can't keep their mask on and are trying to strawman up this omnipotent sexpests boogeyman so they can vague about their audience.
The problem is that clearly nobody is fooled, so now you just have a stupid culture war raging between insecure men who don't want their entertainment to hate them, digital prostitutes that hate their clients for reasons probably related to being digital prostitutes, seething Twitter weirdos dogpiling in to get their shots in about politics and gender and 1view Indies continuing to be pests in each other's DMs because lo and behold vaguing about sexpests doesn't stop them from being sexpests. I'd call this stupid drama but at the heart of it is major channels being contemptuous to their audience for stupid reasons and I'd sympathize with anyone surprised when their oshi goes mask off like that.
