Think of how Nyanners fans would feel. Now think of how much Silver talks about caring about her community and wanting people to be happy but also getting defensive when she does things that the community outright would prefer she didn't (like the time-change). That's the old rock-and-a-hard-place.

Not saying she won't use it ever again, but even if we're just looking at Silver using 2D when she plays, say, Alien Isolation, we're gonna miss out on her genuine facial expressions. Which is, IMO, enough to call a downgrade.
