I had some of my own issues with Coco. But Coco held true to the important parts of Hololive to me- she was a diamond in the rough, she noticeably improved as a person in her time in Hololive(with her Japanese, with her singing ability, etc), and she held to the single most important precept of an idol- you will treat your fans like your surrogate boyfriend in your interactions with them, and not be in a relationship on or off-stream, as well as limit male interaction.
Coco was crass and blunt and often gross. But that doesn't make her not an idol. After all, a couple can be "seiso", but to have a bf is to fail to be an idol. Coco understood the most important part of Hololive- giving people a reason to get up in the morning and not suck shells from the barrel end of a shotgun, and that's why I loved that bitch and I'm gonna protect Hololive as much as I can
