Unlike female vtubers, who play up GFE for donations, male vtubers have 2 different characters they can play: 1) young boy character, 2) BFE guy character.
- Women, especially at older ages, are programmed to give money to children. So in a sickening twist, they will give money to a gay man playing up a child character. It's weird and disturbing, and you should try not to think about it.
- BFE guys are mainly targeting young women who are attracted to men but don't understand anything about relationships. They just know the man is asking for money, and they want to please the man.
In general female fans are HIGHLY judgemental of the model. Much of their opinion is based on the model alone and the personality is an afterthought, as opposed to male fans which are almost reversed.
Seible plays a "young boy" character as a gay man, and gets paid well from baby-crazy women who truly believe he's their child. Sickening, disturbing, alarming there's so many baby-starved women who will likely never have kids in their lives. Seible helps them cope. His model is not considered attractive though, especially when he turns his head, so he gets low viewers overall.
Scarle and Aia do some GFE pandering, however their fans are mostly insecure people who are seeking any amount of attention and validation they can get. These girls provide instant-reactions to any superchats, giving immediate-validation to the mentally ill donor. This results in far higher superchats, but they spend a massive portion of the stream doting on their simps, and it makes the stream unwatchable to anyone else. They get low viewers.
It's also worth mentioning, ILuna had such a massive debut, they had a big catchbasin to boil down to the rocky core of simps that would support them. That's why they do so well in this regard.
Vox was a BFE tuber running on fumes at this point. He gets a tiny fraction of the donations he used to get as his sunk-cost gachis slowly tear themselves away from him.
Vanta is the new hotness for BFE. He has a very underage fanbase, which is very American and very black, and often gets into the weeds with socio-politics, affirming the genderqueer trans activists that he totally validates them, despite not believing any of that shit. Cynical indeed.
Alban and Meloco are doing heavy japanese pandering. That fanbase is way bigger. Why build your own in EN when you can leech the pre-established JP audience? Be a leech, not a pillar.
Elira's donations are coming mostly from her birthday stream, which was pathetic actually.
