She's getting a new model with some new emotes and assets with it and got rid of her old stuff because she doesn't think it represents her anymore. She'll be the same person regardless and I doubt she'll be trying to play a different character, so it's not that huge a deal.
Making it out to be more drastic than it is mostly comes from her though. She overdramatizes and isn't great at explaining things whenever she has some sort of announcement. You could(not anymore since it's gone) see this in the rebranding announcing stream where she never really described what she meant by rebranding, went on for a really long time about it, and only started dropping the persona when people were understandably getting confused and asking questions she didn't want to answer yet. She also had a rant about backseaters in the same stream iirc so it caused a bit of a stir in the threads from people trying to start shit calling her bitchy
