Japanese sounding nice your and my opinion, and sounding weird is my parents and grandparents' opinion. Each opinion is equally valid. For example, a lot of people where I grew up say that Spanish and French sound better than German and Russian, while I think the inverse. I like and appreciate all languages (me insulting the Chinese languages earlier is mostly due to the fact that chinks themselves are worthless insects, their language is interesting), however I do obviously gave favourites. Even so, my own preferences, or any one else's, cannot objectively define a language as "superior".
