I was given indiepills initially and took them for a couple years but I generally happier taking corpopills (I prefer holopills personally). Indiepills are street drugs and often contain a lot of stuff you don't want outside a very few trusted suppliers

Migo already talked about this too, it also has the downside that talents that aren't very proactive and need that extra push depend entirely on their manager's personality to get things going, because they don't speak up and don't ask for shit. The company is happy to let you coast doing bare minimum because they assume that's what you want. You need to make things happen yourself if you have ambitions.

Yeah the emphasis on extra steps. Basically tons of perms and reports (homework).
Really, they're like salary woman who propose projects to be approved then also write report on ongoing projects. But they did have the freedom to make their own proposal.
