Cover added a HoloEarth character named Kozo Iizuka, they dressed him like the guy, and they included dialogue with him referring to a "mechanical accident". The fact that management can immediately remove the character from HoloEarth but they still decided to throw out the absurd lie that "no specific person was intended to be the character during the creation process". They are so used to lying to Hololive fans they didn't even consider the idea of being honest which says a lot about management.

Considering they literally used the same name for the HoloEarth character what good did it even do to lie and claim that it was nothing but a coincidence? No one is asking Hololive to fall on their sword but they lie so easily even in cases where they could be honest. There is something broken about how management responds to negative events that lying is their first reaction.
