In turn why does your oshi who can't sing or do anythign musical feel the need to make original songs and have glowsticks at concerts? Because Hololive is the biggest vtuber company and they do those things.
Suisei is pretty deeply entwined with hololive now, it's all a part of her character story where an indie vtuber who was an idol reject, gets a rags to riches story from joining hololive and then singing her own music to her fans at the budokan. Even if we all gloss over how she was mismanaged by Cover, almost quit, INNK was a dumpsterfire, covid viewer boom and low market saturation, etc.
Suisei is important becuase she can sell her story for herself, and Cover can sell her story to future talents.
I'm a former fan. I can't really relate to her anymore given her huge succes so I stopped caring and found other vtubers.
