>>107105334As promised, I have new rentry's. (well, one that's new and one that's just an editable replacement)
The first of these is
https://rentry.org/database-other-nations-in-who and it's pretty much what you'd expect: a compilation of non-/who/ nations mentioned or referenced in /who/'s lore.
I like to allude to other parts of the world but don't want others to feel like I'm stepping on their toes or writing their nations for them, so I decided it would help to have a reference sheet of sorts that keeps track of the mentions. That way, if someone from one of the threads comes here and wants to write from scratch, they have easy access to see where their nation-thread was referenced, making hypothetical discussions of changes or removals much simpler.
I will keep the above rentry up-to-date as new mentions and references occur in the event they are made.

As mentioned in my previous post, orcas have flukes and not tails. This managed to slip past my knowledge until I noticed the name of a membership emote. That, combined with the Deadbeat noting I used the wrong letters for an acronym, led me to make minor scattered revisions to what I've written for the sake of consistency. An example of this is the needless capitalization of animal names. They are now only capitalized when a non-proper noun would be.
I've also elected to change the name of the Strait of Scotos to the Sea of Scotos. When I researched bodies of water, I went with strait for Scotos because it fit the "between two landmasses" aspect of the definition and it sounded more exotic. However, I overlooked the other aspect of the definition of strait in that it is a narrow body of water. This one is not, hence the change in terminology.
https://rentry.org/sea-of-scotos-specbio is the other rentry in this post I'd like anchored. It is to replace the Strait of Scotos specbio, as they contain largely the same information but this new one has its edit code written down in the event future edits need to be made.
Hoosmoot and Criminal Punishment are also outdated renty's, but I don't see myself revising them in the near future so they can stay as is.
tl;dr
>v-tail orcas become v-fluke orcas>animal names are no longer automatically capitalized>Strait of Scotos becomes Sea of Scotos>the current Scotos specbio rentry is to be replaced by https://rentry.org/sea-of-scotos-specbio>other outdated rentry's will not be replaced for the forseeable future>https://rentry.org/database-other-nations-in-who gets added to the /who/ section of the archive__________
>>107122681I wonder if Joshus could learn to communicate in ticker-code (this world's version of morse code, invented by Hoomans) by making sequences of short and long wao's. There's a learning guide in every /who/ library! (though you may have to wait until the Hooties are done rummaging through it)
That being said, I am curious to learn more about the transcript you already have. Does the fact that it's sheet music imply that Joshus' waos are inherently melodical? Do crowds/packs/groups of Joshus harmonize when communicating with each other? Could we see mayo shop quartets in the near future?
