>>107177958Gigi and CC are amazing additions for group collabs, have great chemistry with each other, and do a really good job trying to include others in every collab they are a part of. Advent feels particularly insular in EN, but I do appreciate that Biboo and Shiori have both found pretty frequent partners in Kaela and Zeta respectively and the bits that I've seen with those combos is usually pretty good.
Nerissa is a wet blanket who's best pairing on-screen is ERB, and ERB herself tends to be a little too 'aunt-core' and it comes off as disconnected a lot. If people don't play into it much for whatever the collab is, it falls pretty flat. FWMC have an extremely hard time trying to blend with anyone in EN both because of their knack for talking to one-another a lot in their own psudo-private convesations which are hard to engage with, and that they refuse to acknowledge anything outside of meme jokes inside Holo/about them (a limited subset of them at that) and pretending to know nothing about western internet culture or general media culture. They've done a bit better lately, but it still usually involves people coming to them instead of them coming to the table so to speak. If GG or CC are around with them, they're usually good.
Raora is a bit too hard of a bimbo and unless there's more than 2-3 talents in the collab, she ends up being pretty dead weight and suffers from much the same that FWMC do, but more because the way she acts doesn't lend itself to humor and her jokes often can't be 'yes, and' material meaning everything ends way too quickly when others are starting to roll.
In terms of collab dynamics for gens, I'd say Advent has the most put-together collabs, but it's to be expected as they've been dealt a good hand by management and get a lot of support for everything gen-related off the backs of FWMC's sales. Myth was always stiff and I think Gura really stifled a lot of the goofy potential that's both cute and humorous. Particularly what comes to mind is the off-collab in Japan where towards the tail end, Mori, Kiara, and Ina started beatboxing like goobers and even Ame started to join in, but immediately clammed up and the stream ended after Gura called them cringe. It's not that I don't like that kind of self-defeating comedy sometimes, but there's a time and a place for it, and I think Gura was really bad at toning it down because that was her general MO.
I won't even start to comment on Coucil's collaboative-ness though, because I can admit I didn't watch a ton of Council as I'd already really liked a talent from Myth and Sana, who I liked some of her content, went on multiple long hiatuses which made me disinterested in them as a whole.
