i think it's fine. he was open about the fact there's not going to be much extra, and he set the subscription price pretty low iirc, like $3-5 a month. i only sometimes check his clips, so i'm probably not going to, but i'm fine with how he's doing it. make it totally optional, be upfront about what it's for, that's all anyone can really ask.

no. let people monetize their shit fairly. opening up a totally optional donation tier membership is fine. i take more issue with whores charging $30/m for their vods and mono audios and/or breaking shit up so much that you have to buy whatever tier sub for like 5 specific audios they know are going to be a hit. normal vtubers and normal clippers opening up a basic ass membership is fine.

Yeah that's who i'm referring to. The people who actually sit there and translate it into correct digestible text. I think that's okay, but that's just my opinion. Memberships are optional so its not bad, especially when the clippers link to the official channels and social medias. Its just free advertising, because i wouldn't watch those streams because i can't understand Japanese. But i could drop a subscribe and follow.
