The majority of vtubers do this shit for fun, on the side, usually to a perfectly fine and happy life with a job, friends and overall healthy life.
The ones you hear about on this shithole aren't even close to the majority.
Vtubing started out with random ass fuckers replacing facecams with 3D models, zero difference and if you think otherwise you're a newfag revisionist trying to twist and warp vtubing in to something it isn't.
There's literally nothing special about it, there's no stupid set rules, no set behaviours, no expectations unless you're a newfag.
There's no "vtuber community", never has been and people saying it are deluding themselves.
Say "streamer community" without laughing. say "music community" without laughing. Literally doesn't, and never has, existed.
There is no such thing as "vtuber", there's a hundred+ types of vtubers each with their own niche way of doing things, and the majority of them are not even remotely in it for money, they stream for friends and any extra money is a mere bonus at best.
