There's an old saying:
During the California gold rush, the only real profit was made from selling the shovels and picks.
If you wanted to get in on the Vtuber business it'd be better to look at the platforms hosting them. That said Twitch isn't that great and YouTube is a bit too obfuscated.
There have been a *ton* of Vtuber companies rise and fall in the last few years and most of them just stress out their talents and shit the bed through overspending and overextending.
So why do you need a corporation? My best guess is networking so as an investor you have to ask yourself who has the best network?
Anycolor keeps play buttons and I don't see a lot of negativity outside of a few talents, but more importantly I don't see any positivity out of like 100+ fielded talents. That worries me.
Cover has less talents but they're bigger, but those big talents are leaving for one reason or another so whatever they're doing is a thin ice maneuver. Do you want to park your money on thin ice to grow?
Tldr if you must, diversify your holdings. You probably want to buy some of both stock but look at the tech companies vtubers rely on and consider investing in those.

While hololive did make vtubers big at first people slowly realized you didn't need to be a part of a corpo to get success hence why it's slowly been going downhill for them

Cover is good as a company but investors care about returns, dividends, voting rights, and buybacks to make their money back
Cover offers none of that, those shares don't have voting rights, cover doesn't pay dividends, and they don't do buybacks to push the value back up for stock holders

That's the real reason why the stock is slumping
