>>107287034as someone who has used vtubers and very specifically asmr to cope with pretty stout loneliness and isolation over the past couple years, i get it. especially after moving out this may, i really don't have any social contact outside work and shopping when need be. through the week it's nice knowing i can tune in to a stream halfway through my shifts, and when i get home at almost 4am, it's good to have some clips and maybe even finishing up a vod. rest of the morning into afternoon while i sleep, it's asmr time, i've saved easily 300 hours at this point and keep multiple playlists categorized by streamer.
it's not healthy. it's weird, we both know it's weird. no normally functioning person would save hundreds of hours of basically spoken word audio to listen to while they sleep, but i do it because it's what i've got.
my point being: you're not alone. you're not the only guy unironically coping, just fuckin ball until shit gets better or you have more opportunity. i don't know your situation, but as long as you have decent health and aren't on a restrictive schedule, you have what you need on paper.
