Chargebacks literally give their money to the payment processor. You chargeback $50 and lose nothing, well the recipient loses their cut but gains a fee. Fuck you, you deserve to be sued to oblivion and lose every single thing you ever owned. Don't play with peoples finances for your enjoyment.

it's only funny to ignorant fucks. when you charge back you're getting your money back but forcing the original recipient to pay a fee. it's generally a method of near last resort to get your money back in cases of wrongdoing, not a random ass way to fuck with someone.

i don't care if it's a vtuber, normal streamer, business. don't be a cunt and chargeback for meaningless shit or some slight, have common decency and decorum.

You aren't really able to protect yourself if there's someone that's out to do malicious chargebacks against you since they're going to their CC providers and banks to reverse the transactions. The only real solace you'd have is that people can't actually do it that often without the real risk of having their accounts closed and having a hard time opening new accounts at other institutions.

I think twitch used to offer some protection but it ended up being abused by turkish crime gangs that'd steal cards and use them to donate mass gifts and bits to turkish streamers who were in on it, they ended up getting arrested for it though
