The three talents in the image (plus FwMc) all come from niconico, back when early Hololive mainly recruited from there.
But it makes me wonder 'what would holomems career', and 'Hololive today', look like if Coco’s debut had been pushed back a year and she’d joined as part of EN1(or EN0) instead? Also if Holo and Niji’s overseas expansion had happened later, and Kiara ended up in JP5 and IRyS in JP6?

Both Kiara and IRyS were niconico veterans even compared to the many JP members, had that whole background, and were already living in Japan before they were hired.
So just like how Kanade got picked as a JP member even though she was living in Korea at the time, I think if the global export of VTubing had been delayed a bit, the future shown in the image could’ve totally been real.

I’ve had a lot of chances this year to look back on Hololive’s so-called peak era in 2020, and that’s what made me think of this. It really makes you feel how much people’s lives hinge on tiny differences in timing and luck.
...Well, I think everyone(including Coco) is pretty satisfied with how things actually turned out, so this is completely an 'if' story.
