'Idols' are extremely egotistical. Kiara and FWMC would have been considered losers had they not made it to Holo. The core of an idol is someone who craves attention and the limelight. Some who love the idea growing up get over it by their late teens, others by their 20's. When I say 'get over it', I don't mean they end up hating it, just that they realize that that sort of thing is only sustainable for the absolute top .1%, and everyone else just gets fucked through and through. You could make the argument that if you don't try, you'll never have a shot at the .1%. It's not wrong, but at some point you do have to give up if you want your life to go back to normal and can't keep chasing some crazy dream.
