>>107357166It's a bit of a delicate thing given that Cover's main value prop is their IP. If the talents can run off (and in many cases even contract the same artists for their new designs, like Fauna, Aqua, and Chloe) and carry over the majority of their fans, then it's questionable what Cover's moat actually is. If Cover was competent they'd expend significantly more effort retaining talent.
Note that Fauna, Aqua, and Chloe's artists all link to both the old and new identities right in their Twitter bios. (Well, Aqua is a bit of a special case since the whole controversy and new design, but Gaou still links both of them.)
I would not be surprised if Cover added something to the contracts to fight back against this because it's a pretty glaring "vulnerability", literally being able to click from an ex-Holo Twitter bio to the artist to the reincarnation is pretty bold.
