Pekora has a computer with an Intel i9-12900K so the weak link is the RTX 3080ti. Still compared to many Hololive talents that is a high end system and much of the EN branch is strangely reluctant to spend money on their streaming computers.

Well a Hololive vtuber needs to run the game, the OBS software, and the garbage Cover app which does eat up a good amount of VRAM. That combination is why several EN talents have noticeably bad game performance on any resource heavy game.

the encoding engine is a separate part of the chip, it doesn't impact game performance

How many talents in the EN branch actually use 2 computers for streaming? That is rare even in the JP branch were Cover employees could visit their house to do all the necessary software configurations. Strangely enough management really doesn't seem to care about stream quality even when they are shilling games.
