It was inconclusive so they needed another 6 months waiting for a spot to open up at a specialist
Turns out it was indeed cancer, they started threatment 2 weeks later but by then it was too late, he never really recovered and died at 63
That about sums up EU healthcare, the funny/sad part is that people just accept it, euros are actual peasant cattle that are incapable of imagining anything working better than it does in their country
When my uncle got told to wait 6 months knowing that he would die if it was actually cancer he just...did nothing, the average European quite literally would die before questioning the system
It's this weird denial, they make fun of American healthcare because a world where you get a heart transplant in a week is simply incomprehensible, they don't question the idea that when you break your arm in the US you'll be forever in debt never realizing that in the real world insurance pays for everything
If you ever wondered about the "We don't do that here in Germany" meme is a thing it's because of this weird cattle mentality, if the system works this way then it must be because it has to be the way the system works, never questioning the circular logic
The one good thing is that Europeans are so docile they don't have any defense against being questioned so you can just complain and refuse to accept their bullshit to get ahead
My dermatologist didn't have a spot for me until next year until I called her office and kept demanding to be seen and surprise surprise I could come in next week after 15 minutes on the phone
