Vtubing went from a genre of content creation to simply a medium. It completely died when failed Twitch whores figured out they didnt need to show their face (or didnt want to show their face anymore) to farm money from simps. Now most western vtubing is just whores trying to move their chatters to websites like OnlyFans, Fansly or Patreon with no care about what vtubing used to actually be.
