Yes, Kanata had to do works that was beyond her job scope, but it's essentially part of the work at the time being since Cover doesn't have any other way to make it better. The solution that they've been working at, as Kanata herself agreed, would take a long time.
Don't get me wrong: Cover has a lot of things they can and need to improve on. Some might take time, some might not, but regardless, majority of the "suffering" are optional. Kanata's case wasn't similar to AZKi or IRyS where their issues were part of their official & mandatory work.
>How do you get out of that? Cancel the project after investing time and money? No, you delay it.
Take Kiara's 3D birthday stream project (or anniversary, I don't quite recall) for example. It was optional and personal project (they don't *have* to do a 3D live for their birthday / anniversary). Cover's studio wasn't available when she was in Japan and it was only opened up around the end of 2024 - which forced Kiara to pick her choice: either travel to JP on her own for recordings (Cover doesn't pay for expenses when it's not part of an mandatory official project), or delay it and wait another 4 months so she could record the next time she goes to Japan for official work. She picked the latter, delayed her project and that was the end of it.
Kanata didn't want to do so because she had her idea of idols that she didn't want to compromise on, not that she literally had no choice
