I struggled for years to make money because I was getting 1500/wk back in 2020 before being laid off, then got half that for free doing literally nothing, so when I got back into the workforce having people offer me 15/hr for office work in late 2020 felt like a massive fuck you. I kept turning down jobs i felt were beneath me, which worked until the unemployment ran out midway through 2021, then I thought my investments owuld carry me, but was proven wrong about a year later in 2022. Recently I've been working 6-7 days a week and at one point earned nearly 3000 bcks in a single 7 day period. The idea of going back to being unemployed, making no money and struggling sucks. The Biden years were disappointment after disappointment. I would literally rather every day be monday, as long as I can grind as hard as possible so I never have problems again, throwing it all into investments again and eventually I will win and then I'll keep working probably.
The only thing worse than working is being a fucking neet waking up in the night thinking about all the time I've wasted.
