Let's be real, NijiJP is an entirely different thing from NijiEN.
Yes cliques do exist, yes there is still an issue with favoritism, but it's a lot easier to coast by as a member of JP compared to being part of NijiEN and automatically being disliked just for existing in that branch.
Niji at least still has a decent reputation within Japan, but there's basically nothing to gain from returning to the EN branch.
