Usually men don't like being considered inferior, and if you're simping/supporting another man's woman, you are considered inferior to that man. You are lowering your chances for successful fulfillment of your biological imperative by wasting time on another man's woman. Of course logically there are many other considerations that come with society, but at its basest that is what your hind brain says, and the repellant on that is instinctually ingrained.
Relationship with another woman just doesn't trigger that, its a biological blindspot. People try to think up logical explanations, but it doesn't come from logic, its simple ingrained biological emotion, though of course you can hate the partner in a separate context as well, but even then the strength of that hate doesn't usually create as strong of an aversion response as knowing the woman you support is taken. /certain holos get around that blind spot by it simply never ever coming up on stream.
