I'm sure anyone who arent new to these threads knows why NUMBERS arent to be dismissed. Sponsors/Advertisers knows where to look and there are only so many that would sink their ad budget on a supposedly niche culture.

The APEX scene, while it does have a supposedly low-value toxic audience, is being well-organized and maintained by key players in the industry.
With constant content (monthly tourneys/events) and those key players as stakeholders, it has reasonable potential to get even more popular in the near future. And maybe even among JP normies which are a higher quality audience than currently.
>mutual promotionTo the contrary, joining these tourneys is what they should be doing had mutual promotion be a priority. The choice was either your competitor gets access to the new trend audience pool or you both gets access to them in addition to each other's audience.
