fortunately the vtubing industry is saturated with women so you automatically stand out as a guy but that's not gonna make anyone wanna send you money unless if you actually give a shit about streaming and it'll show through how you engage with your audience and the games you play. if you're uninterested and not talking 90% of the time of course no one's gonna stick around to watch.
you can start out as a pngtuber to get a feel for streaming before going hard on spending on assets though, you gotta know if you actually enjoy streaming at first.
tl;dr have a pleasant voice and be good at talking about stuff. you gotta have *some* level of charisma and presentability
