while she without a doubt has made at least a million dollars from her content, she has employees to pay (clippers, editors, production, etc.) and she's gone on the record of saying that pretty much all the money she makes from content goes straight back into it. so she may be making a lot of money, but she isn't saving a lot of it either. i mean she literally needed a sponsor for the v-tuber awards because she couldn't finance and produce it on her own (it was around $100k for the first year, closer to $200k the second).
i shouldn't have to explain why it's retarded for her to spend upwards of $250k on a setup just so we could see her eating and doing stunts.
another point to add, she'd have to risk doxing herself with an AR setup, which we already know is BIG no-no for her. What happens when part of the tracking system malfunctions and the model stops tracking to her body, or the model glitches out for a moment and we get a glimpse of her IRL, or somebody manages to pull a reflection off something like they did with the keyboard dox. she literally stopped doing hand-cam/IRL streams because of that, and doesn't even let her clip channels use those streams for clips. this alone would make her stay away from AR.
