It sucks, but she should've moved on and gotten proper treatment for all the trauma she's been through and clearly still needs to process. Not only from her untimely graduation, but also from her step-dad or whatever. By trying so desperately to remain relevant and clinging to what could have been in the form of Delta she's only going to hurt herself further down the line.
This is pretty much self-destructive behavior at this point. I really hope her life works out for her eventually, but she needs to stop and work out her problems properly. For her own good. Then go live her life.
